Bring the Smile back for children of Devastated areas in Gaza Strip (Hot Meals),2015

Bringing Smile Back to Children in Devastated Areas of the Gaza Strip (Hot Meals), mainly involved the distribution of hot balanced and healthy meals to 443 children in 6 kindergartens (Sanabel Kindergarten , Fawares Kindergarten , Martyr saber Abu Daher Kindergarten Almustaqbal Kindergarten , Alhuda Kindergarten and Shomoa-alamal Kindergarten ) in the Gaza Strip. This phase is considered is an extension of the first phase with the same kindergarten and the same children, these children suffer from malnutrition and other health issues associated with malnutrition. They live in marginalized areas which are located near the border with Israel and thus repeatedly under attacks by the Israeli forces. Almost all of the targeted children have been traumatized as a result of the repeated attacks on their areas. At the end of the project, all the targeted children were invited to a closing ceremony in which they received different gifts and got entertained. The project has also contributed to supporting the Pastry Cooperative and creation of job opportunities to 8 women producing pastries in the Cooperative. The project has thus improved the economic conditions of these women’s families.
