Psychological support project for women, economically and socially

As part of the Cooperative Society for Savings and Leading goals for women’s economic and social empowerment, the Cooperative Society for Savings and Leading for Women in the Gaza Strip is implementing an emergency response project to support women economically and socially in light of the war on Gaza. The six-month project aims to mitigate the impact of the trauma experienced by women as a result of the war on Gaza. Psychological support sessions are being conducted for women and some cases are being referred to case management. The project also provides economic support to 750 women, depending on their needs. The project also includes training in food processing and the integration of participants into available job opportunities, as well as targeting girls and women in various displacement camps across the Gaza Strip.
