The project aims to improve food security and health status and contribute to reducing psychological pressure and economic burden on children and their families.The Cooperative Society for Lending and Credit began implementing the “Hot Meals” project, the “Restore Smiles to Children” program in the Gaza Strip, in September 2023, with funding from the American Kinder Foundation, with 17 kindergartens located in the five governorates. In the Gaza Strip, which is “North – Gaza – Central – Khan Yunis – Rafah”, where, through the project, complete healthy nutritional meals will be provided to 1,000 children over the course of the first semester. Women working in the productive units supervised by the Cooperative Society for Lending and Credit prepare meals and distribute them to the targeted kindergartens in the areas of the Gaza Strip.
