Cooperative Society for Saving and Lending (CSSL) distributed 1,047 fresh and healthy food parcels to 1,047 poor and affected families in different locations. The food parcels which were divided in two halves to avoid decay in view of power shortages were distributed in two phases during the holy month of Ramadan. The first phase was implemented in the beginning of Ramadan while the second phase was implemented at the end of Ramadan
During the project period, CSSL distributed food parcels to 1,047 families in the following 3 Governorate: (Gaza Governorate
,Middle Gaza Governorate,Southern Gaza Governorate)
The first half of the food parcels that were distributed in the first phase contained (cucumber, Tomatoe, potatoe, onion, Muloukhiya, jam, thyme, white cheese, maftoul and chickens)
In the second phase, the distributed food parcels contained (cucumber, tomatoe, potatoe, onion, cheese, jam, eggs and date paste).
